Laptop and Netbook are great portable gadget that are quite affordable to most people now. Everything is built-in to one small thin piece of hardware including the keyboard, touchpad as replacement for your mouse, the screen as your monitor. Since the touchpad is just below the keyboard, sometimes your palm will accidentally brush on the touchpad while you are typing without noticing it. This will cause the cursor to move to another area of the screen and everything that you typed on the keyboard is no longer being focused on the text box. This slows down the whole typing process and causes typo (typing errors) if the typist do not double check on what they’ve typed.
The solution is to address this problem is to use an external keyboard connected via USB or some laptop comes with a button to disable the touchpad. As an alternative, you can also make use of a software called TouchFreeze to avoid this problem.
TouchFreeze is a small and simple application that disables touchpad while you are typing text. This tool is free. After installation, this program will be minimized to system traybar. Works perfectly but there are times when this tool just won’t work. Closing and launching this program will possible make it work again since it hooks the keyboard. You can download the latest version of TouchFreeze at THIS LINK.
