Safely Delete and Uninstall Old Java Files

Java is programming language that supports all operating systems. It can even support web applications as you can find Java online games, and even the NBA livescore at Yahoo is powered by Java. Another good thing about Java is it is free which can be downloaded and updated without a dime at any time on any computer. Java gets updated from time to time to implement new features and fix some programming bugs leaving the end users the need to update it.
When Java is being updated, some of the files that belongs to the older version of Java is still being retained on the computer and is not removed. The reason for keeping the old Java files is unsure but it sure does take up hard drive space and probably leaving the computer open to exploits.
If you are not familiar with Java, you probably do not know which files are safe to delete. Leave it to JavaRa, a simple tool that does the simple job of removing old and redundant versions of the Java Runtime Environment (JRE). This free and portable tool is very easy to use. Just run it, select your language and click the Remove Older Versions.
