Adobe Reader is an essential file reader to open and view PDF files that every computer must have. Many proposals and help files are being created in PDF format because it allows for printing and viewing without easily being edited unlike the Word document. To install Adobe Reader, the user would need to go to Adobe.com and click on the “Get ADOBE READER” icon which will take you to the next page that auto detects your operating system and the language of your OS. Clicking the download button at the bottom of the page does not immediately download the Adobe Reader and it forces you to download Adobe DLM which is a download manager by Adobe.
Installing Adobe DLM just to download Adobe Reader may seemed unnecessary and moreover the installer for Adobe Reader itself is already nearly 40MB. If you need to install on multiple computers, it would consume a lot of time and the Internet bandwidth.
The best method is to get the Adobe Reader redistributable download link for the full setup which can be used to install on multiple computers without redownloading and also avoiding the Adobe DLM installation. If you take a closer look at the web page after clicking the Download button, there is a text that says “Thank you. Your download will start automatically. If it does not start, click here to download.”
The Adobe Reader redistributable install file 26MB AdbeRdr930_en_US.exe is located at that link! No you do not need to apply to distribute the free Adobe Reader that can be deployed in an organization or distributed through physical media like a CD or DVD…
