Disable Solve PC Issues or White Flag Action Center in Windows 7

Windows 7 comes with a new Action Center where you can view alerts and take actions that can help keep Windows running smoothly. Action Center lists important messages about security and maintenance settings that need your attention. Red items in Action Center are labeled Important, and indicate significant issues that should be addressed soon, such as an outdated antivirus program that needs updating. Yellow items are suggested tasks that you should consider addressing, like recommended maintenance tasks.
One example is if you have Windows Defender turned on but you have never updated it because you are using other third party and more reliable antispyware such as MalwareBytes or SuperAntiSpyware, the Action Center icon in the notification area on the taskbar will show a red X mark, trying to tell you that there is something important that you need to take care of.
You can either disable Windows Defender, or simply hide the Action Center white flag icon that asks you to Solve PC issues. One easy way to hide the Solve PC Issues icon is by right clicking the Taskbar, and select Properties. Then click the Customize button for the Notification area. First make sure that “Always show all icons and notifications on the taskbar” is UNCHECKED. Now you will have a small arrow icon pointing upwards. This allows you to group the unwanted system tray icons that you don’t to see to one icon. Now select the behavior “Hide icon and notifications” for Action Center.
That will successfully hide the Solve PC Issues or Action Center tray icon.
